Join our client’s Direct Tax Team as a Tax Executive, where your proactive approach and dedication to meeting deadlines will help deliver exceptional client service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality tax compliance work, including the preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Preparing DDT10 exemptions, shareholder registrations, dividend warrants, and tax refund registration forms.
- Analysing and applying the Consolidated Group (Income Tax) Rules.
- Assisting with tax advisory assignments and researching tax matters.
- Liaising with tax authorities as required.
- Staying informed of direct tax developments both locally and internationally.
- Assisting with various ad-hoc tax projects as needed.
The ideal candidate should possess the following, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese. Proficiency in a third language would be considered an advantage. They should be self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and demonstrate a proactive approach. Additionally, the candidate should excel in building client relationships and have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
In terms of qualifications and experience, the ideal candidate should be ACCA qualified or in the final stages of obtaining their qualifications. They should have at least one year of experience in a CSP environment, with additional experience considered a valuable asset. A strong command of accounting standards and Maltese tax legislation is also required.
