Our esteemed client is looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team.
The role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to collaborate with departmental heads on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs, attract candidates using various channels, perform interviews, evaluate and process applications.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage talent pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs;
- Identify and coordinate recruitment initiatives, including job fairs and partnerships with external institutions;
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process;
- Collaborate with departments to assess talent needs and address skills gaps;
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and third-party suppliers;
- Source and attract candidates through job advertising, social media, & headhunting;
- Partner with Hiring Managers to evaluate candidates effectively;
- Ensure thorough documentation throughout the hiring process;
- Coordinate interviews across all levels to assess candidate potential;
- Support department heads in drafting and updating job descriptions;
- Maintain accurate and current job descriptions and requirements;
- Assist in developing role-specific assessments and interview questions;
- Handle candidate management in line with company policies and best practices;
- Select appropriate advertising platforms and job boards for each role;
- Lead the onboarding process for new hires;
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding procedures comply with legal standards and industry best practices;
- Maintain recruitment metrics to support data-driven decisions;
- Perform additional tasks as required, aligned with skills and organisational needs.

Qualifications:
- Certificate in Human Resources or a related qualification;
- Preferably holds an internationally recognised certification or membership with a reputable recruitment body;
- In-depth understanding of industry practices, job market trends, and talent acquisition strategies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Foundational knowledge of Maltese employment legislation;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Experienced in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
