On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit a Software Engineer (Automotive).
The primary objective of this role is to manage and support Print Solution and Report Generator activities, ensuring effective system performance and successful project delivery.
Over time, the successful candidate will be introduced to additional modules within the Dealer Management System (DMS), with the expectation of gradually taking ownership of these areas. The role will also evolve to include involvement in Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, particularly where SQL expertise can be applied.
Key Duties & Responsibilities;
- Lead and manage Print Solution tasks, ensuring timely and successful execution;
- Implement Print Manager applications in line with established procedures and best practices;
- Support the development of reports using the Report Generator;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless system integration;
- Perform thorough testing to ensure high-quality report outputs;
- Identify and resolve system issues and bugs efficiently;
- Provide user training and ongoing support;
- Assist in both local and international system implementations;
- Support and progressively take ownership of additional DMS modules;
- Contribute to BI solutions, with increasing involvement over time
Requirements;
- Qualification in IT (certificate or diploma level);
- Basic understanding of programming logic and structures;
- Knowledge of SQL is considered an asset;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to learn new systems and take ownership of responsibilities;
- Strong time management and ability to meet project deadlines;
- Familiarity with Auto line systems is an advantage;
- Excellent command of English; additional languages such as French or Arabic are beneficial
