Our client is a leading and reliable car company in Malta on the lookout for a Service Manager. 
 
The main objective of the service manager is to align and optimize communication and resources to achieve the best results in quality and customer satisfaction. Duties will include but are not limited to: 
  • Clear communication, coordination and harmonization of three functions including supervisors, advisors and coordinators. 
  • Motivating and leading employees to achieve best performance.
  • Submit regular ad hoc reports to the general manager on the performance of the department or section in a timely manner. 
  • Dealing with VIP customers queries and complaints to resolve in a professional manner.
  • Carrying out performance reviews to align employees with business objectives whilst ensuring staff development.
  • Maintain discipline with company policies and organise briefings to ensure good communication at all levels.
  • Ensure compliance to the brand’s standards and support standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure Health and Safety practices in accordance to legislation. 
  • Develop strategies for the After Sales function. 
  • Recommend business plan and annual budget for the Department. 
  • Travel when necessary for meetings or conferences. 
 
The ideal candidate will be a hands on, “lead by example” individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Candidate must be able to manage the day to day running of three functions. Experience within a manufacturing industry and knowledge of lean principles is considered an asset!
