Our client is a leading financial institution in Malta, striving to offer a high quality services to their customers. They are currently seeking a driven candidate to form part of their diverse team as a Senior Treasury Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing Liquidity Management through maintaining an understanding of business funding requirements and product liquidity risk.
- Assisting in setting up the ALM Unit.
- Developing behavioural models for particular company products by using statistical modelling.
- Assisting with the running of analytics.
- Assisting in design models supporting the Treasury department.
- Building and maintaining an ALM model and an FTP model.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop new investment strategies.
- Working closely with other departments, such as IT, Finance and Risk.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Treasury, Asset Liability Management, Portfolio or Risk Management.
- Are in possession of a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business or another related field.
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Bloomberg.
- Have obtained previous working experience in a financial service or banking environment.
