Position Overview:

The Senior Technical Consultant will leverage their expertise in CRM/CE to optimise key business processes for high-profile customers, focusing on both functional and technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics CRM/CE. This role involves significant customer interaction, providing guidance, overcoming challenges, and maintaining specific areas of Dynamics CRM/CE in both on-premises and cloud environments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Capture and Define Requirements: Capture, assess, and define clients' business requirements to create strategies using practical Dynamics 365 business solutions and industry best practices.

- Documentation: Document and review all business processes, Gap/Fit Analysis findings, functional design documents, testing scripts, training materials, and progress updates throughout the implementation lifecycle;

Process Design: Design and re-engineer business processes using best practices and standard Dynamics 365 procedures;

Customisation: Customize Dynamics 365 CRM using Visual Studio and related technologies;

Integration: Create interfaces between Dynamics 365 and external applications;

Data Migration: Perform data migrations to and from Microsoft Dynamics 365;

Quality Assurance: Deliver outputs on time with a high level of quality, following Microsoft best practices. Conduct unit tests and document deliverables;

Release Management: Release components to testing environments using appropriate source control tools;

Solution Ownership: Take full ownership of the solutions delivered to clients;

- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Actively organise and facilitate workshops, in-house seminars, webinars, and knowledge transfer sessions with clients and the Business Consulting Team;

- Demonstrations and Training: Provide functionality demonstrations and training to new clients, end-users, and senior executives as needed;

- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to assist in design, conduct unit testing, and perform integrated testing.

- Support: Assist in go-live procedures and provide post-go-live support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE;
  • Business Operations: Basic functional knowledge of business operations;
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud technologies such as MS Azure, Flow, and PowerApps;
  • Functional and analytical skills an In-depth knowledge of the .NET framework;
  • Proficient in developing object-oriented code using Visual Studio;
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server and experience in writing SQL queries;
  • Familiarity with mainstream version control systems such as TFS;
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple projects and deadlines;
  • Capable of working with interruptions and addressing immediate issues;
  • Ability to stay current with technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance technology infrastructure;
  • Capability to act independently on routine assignments or projects;
  • Ability to plan, organise, and multitask to complete assignments efficiently;
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy;
