Our client, an organisation overseeing AML/CFT compliance are seeking to recruit for this position.

High Level Role Description
-Collaborate with internal teams across departments to support and implement strategic objectives.
-Ensure strategic plans are regularly reviewed and updated in line with sector developments.
-Carry out quality assurance assessments on internal policies, procedures, and operational activities, according to established annual plans and frameworks.
-Assist in preparing detailed test plans that define the scope, goals, and methodology of quality reviews.
-Record findings, provide insightful observations, and make actionable recommendations to address gaps and enhance organisational performance.
-Monitor the execution of agreed improvements to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
-Contribute to the development and ongoing success of the organisation’s risk management framework.
-Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and internal committees to stay informed about updates in legislation and regulatory standards in the financial crime compliance field—both locally and internationally.
-Offer ad-hoc support in the context of assessments, evaluations, or reviews carried out by international or regional bodies.
-Perform other tasks as assigned by senior leadership or departmental heads.
Qualifications & Experience:
-A qualification at MQF Level 6 (or equivalent) in a field relevant to the role, supported by at least four years of professional experience in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT), ideally within the financial services industry or a similarly regulated sector.
OR
-A qualification at MQF Level 5 (or equivalent) in a relevant field, along with five years of hands-on experience in AML/CFT, preferably in financial services or another supervised environment.
Candidates with a background in audit, compliance review, or quality assurance will be given priority.
