Our esteemed client, is currently seeking a highly organised and skilled Senior Manager ICT to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic planning, implementation and maintenance of technology systems and infrastructure within the company's operating context. The role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring operational efficiency, driving innovation as well as the day-to-day operations and functions of the company.  

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the company;

- Querying and analysing basic spatial data;

- Prepare and present the IT Strategy and business plan including budget planning and contribution in the overall company's business and financial plan and to ensure that these are followed, and timeframes adhered to;

-Responsible for operational planning, capacity planning and processes for database administration, data security, office automation, end-user computing, information systems development, network, communications, computer operations and systems/user support functions;

- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing Business Intelligence solutions;

- The delivery of data and reporting platforms and solutions to business key stakeholders enabling them to make data-informed decisions;

- To administer contracts and/or service level agreements for IT related projects;

- To contribute towards and manage contingency/disaster-recovery processes and data security including setting up policies, procedures, and tests;

- To administer policies, standards and procedures designed to protect and control the security of the entity’s data, programmes, and information technology systems. To ensure that fail over technologies are responsive, adequate and in place;

- To ensure the maximum level of security for all the entity’s IT systems;

- Manage and ensure the validity of all the ICT inventory including hardware, software and resources;

- To lead/participate in, management committees on special studies and special projects;

- To make recommendations to the Executive Head on measures that could be taken by the company to create a working environment that motivates staff to attain high levels of efficiency;

- Any other duties as may be required by the Executive Head of the company or his delegate.

Qualifications & Experience:

- The minimum qualifications are of Bachelor’s degree at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVET credits, or equivalent) in IT/ICT or comparable qualification;
- A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in similar position in a leading and managerial role;
- Strong ICT knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Microsoft and GI products and other industry standards tools, Web technologies, database administration and Virtualisation technologies;
- Experience in network administration and components, including monitoring and alerting tools.
