On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit a Senior HR Executive to join their growing team.

The Senior HR Executive is responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, work permit processing, and HR compliance. The role supports management and employees while ensuring adherence to company policies and Maltese employment legislation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Support hiring managers with candidate selection and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate onboarding and employee induction programmes.

Employee Relations & Performance

  • Support employee engagement and workplace relations.
  • Assist with performance reviews and development plans.
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and HR-related matters.
  • Identify and coordinate training and development needs.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing and attendance records.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports, statistics, and workforce data.

Work Permits & Compliance

  • Manage work permit applications and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee registrations, terminations, and exit interviews.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Previous HR experience with strong knowledge of Maltese employment legislation.
  • Experience in recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and HR administration.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of recruitment tools, social media sourcing, and modern HR practices.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Additional languages are considered an asset.
