Reporting to the finance manager, you will play a vital role in the company’s finance function. Your responsibilities will include, but are not exhaustive of the following:
• Preparation management accounts on a monthly basis;
• Analysing cashflow, and assisting in the preparation of budgets;
• General accounting duties, and maintenance of records;
• Liaising with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with VAT legislation.
Alongside the standard qualities of a finance executive (solid experience with the use of MS Office packages and similar software, detail orientated and well organised). You must possess a high level of integrity, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work efficiently within an energetic group dynamic, as well as being able to work well independently, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ideally, you will already be in possession of a qualification in accountancy that is professionally recognised; or at the final stages of attaining your accountancy certification, with a minimum of three years’ experience in a senior role.
