Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team.
This opportunity is ideal for ambitious professionals with proven experience in a similar role. Candidates must hold a recognised professional qualification. The key responsibilities and required competencies are outlined below.
- Respond to client queries and communications, including participation in meetings;
- Lead and supervise accounts teams to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of services;
- Perform bank and other reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner;
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit-related processes;
- Review and evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness;
- Prepare management accounts and other ad hoc financial reports as required
Requirements:
- Professionally qualified (or nearing completion of an accounting qualification);
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Relevant experience will be considered an asset;
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment;
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
