A very well known established company is looking for a Sales Executive to handle storage and material handling solutions both locally and internationally. This leading provider forms part of a big firm company, a long-established multifaceted group of companies whose primary aim is to achieve business growth through innovation.

This leading provider is the group’s sales and aftersales centre for racking, shelving and material handling equipment.

The selected individual shall work in the Racking & Shelving section of the Sales Department and assist the Sales Manager with a broad array of duties. This shall include:

  • Reaching annual sales targets and meeting key performance indicators relating to efficiency and service levels;
  • Covering the sales process from start to finish relating to all products and services within the portfolio;
  • Developing relationships with clients and monitoring their evolving needs on a regular basis;
  • Building and nurturing a healthy sales pipeline of existing as well as new clients;
  • Prospecting for new clients and proactively hunting for new leads;
  • Following up on existing sales enquiries and with existing as well as new clients;
  • Demonstrating sound knowledge of racking, shelving and other storage-related products;
  • Staying informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to potential clients;
  • Being proactive in setting up meetings in the field to develop or present offers to clients;
  • Negotiating with prospective clients;
  • Ensuring that all deals are processed in a timely and effective manner;
  • Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager from time to time;

The ideal candidate would be a highly-driven and experienced sales professional, with a strong background and an established track record. Well organised, focused and with a strong attention to detail whereas a creative thinker and problem solver with excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with both the team and clients in an effortless manner. In possession of good negotiating skills and have a flair for sales and technical knowledge in storage solutions. 

The Requirements

  • Sound experience in a Sales role;
  • Client-oriented predisposition;
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure & complete tasks swiftly;
  • Positive attitude & Flexibility;
  • Excellent command of the English and Maltese languages;
  • Clean police conduct;
  • Valid driving license;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Familiarity with the use of CAD software will be considered an asset;
