In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while effectively promoting the bank’s products and services to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Relationship Manager in overseeing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strengthening existing client relationships and, in some instances, serving as the primary point of contact for specific inquiries.
  • Promoting the bank's products and services to enhance client engagement.
  • Assisting in the achievement of the team’s business objectives, including commercial activity, profitability, and growth.
  • Preparing credit proposals with well-founded recommendations for final approval.
  • Managing security documentation to ensure compliance and protection of assets.
  • Analysing financial statements to assess client viability and risk.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks and transactions related to the team as necessary.
  • Managing AML/CFT-related risks to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Acting as a deputy for the Relationship Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking and lending principles, demonstrating the ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work effectively under pressure. Exceptional research and analytical skills are essential, alongside excellent proficiency in MS Office applications. A diploma and/or degree in Business Management and/or Banking and Finance is required, with a minimum of two years of experience in business banking. Furthermore, the candidate should possess a solid grasp of financial statements, along with advanced skills in analysis and interpretation.
