This role manages key functions within the Quality department and supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System.
Duties and Responsibiltiies:
- Act as a company reference point and advocate for quality and continuous improvement;
- Assist in the ongoing implementation and management of the Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015;
- Investigate complaints, ensuring processes and documentation are completed according to Standard Operating Procedures. This includes communication with teams at Head Office, Regional Offices, remote sites, and clinics;
- Conduct incident investigations, including Root Cause Analysis, and ensure proper process and documentation are followed as per Standard Operating Procedures. This involves liaising with teams across all company locations;
- Oversee the Internal Audit Plan, perform internal audits of the Quality Management System, complete relevant documentation, and prepare data for external audits;
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to meet departmental KPIs and assist department heads with the creation and presentation of their KPIs;
- Participate in risk management activities;
- Ensure quality department documents are current, and take actions to create, review, and amend them as needed. Support staff in following document control procedures and help develop policies and procedures;
- Maintain up-to-date databases and electronic systems within the department;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the management and clients;
- Provide training on relevant quality topics during staff induction and ongoing development;
- Support department administration, including taking meeting notes when required;
- Follow company policies and procedures, identifying any necessary new procedures or changes, and ensure proper implementation and execution;
- Perform additional duties as needed for the smooth operation of the business, within individual capabilities;
- Uphold and promote the company's values and culture;
- Comply with all the company HSSE procedures and contribute to fostering a strong safety culture within the company.
Requirements:
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with expertise in educational writing;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Discreet and professional demeanor;
- Strong problem-solving abilities;
- Team player with the ability to work independently;
- Detail-oriented and focused;
- Demonstrates leadership skills;
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritise tasks;

- Good geographical knowledge and awareness of current affairs
- Experience:
- Knowledge and experience in quality management and governance;
- Experience in investigations, including Root Cause Analysis, with strong information-gathering skills;
- Audit experience and practical application;
- Preferably experienced in risk management and its application;
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 certification is an advantage
- Qualifications:
- Ideally holding a bachelors degree or higher in Clinical or related field;
- Ideally ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor certificate
The candidate should speak fluent, readable and written English speaks different languages as this will be highly considered as an asset.
