Our client is looking to recruit a Payroll Executive to join their growing team.
The Payroll Executive will be responsible for accurately managing the company’s payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time, in full compliance with statutory regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, including calculations for overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits;
- Ensure payroll compliance with all relevant employment laws, tax regulations, and company policies;
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update changes such as promotions, resignations, or salary adjustments;
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, including social security contributions and tax forms, by required deadlines;
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly;
- Generate payroll reports for management and finance purposes;
- Liaise with HR on employee data, new hires, terminations, and leave management;
- Respond to employee queries related to salaries, payslips, and deductions in a timely and professional manner;
- Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation;
- Ensure confidentiality of all payroll information and employee data.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements;
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Shireburn, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel;
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Payroll, HR, Finance, or related field.
- Experience managing payroll for a multi-company or large employee base environment.
