on behalf of our client we are looking to recruit a Payroll & Employment Administrator to oversee payroll and employment-related administration in Malta. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on compliance and supporting an internationally mobile workforce. The position may be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the candidate’s experience and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle employee registrations, updates, and terminations with Jobsplus
- Manage Maltese Social Security registrations and related updates
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts and HR documentation
- Coordinate A1 and S1 certificates for employees working across EU countries
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
- Provide support to employees on administrative and employment-related matters
Requirements :
- EU national or valid right to work in Malta (no sponsorship provided)
- Previous experience in payroll or employment administration in Malta
- Hands-on experience with Jobsplus procedures
- Familiarity with Maltese Social Security processes
- Experience handling A1 and S1 certificates
- Fluency in Spanish
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience working with internationally mobile employees
- Familiarity with HR or payroll systems (e.g. Odoo or similar)
- Knowledge of the Maltese language
