Our esteemed client is looking to recruit an Operations Manager. Reporting into the COO, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating daily operations to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services. Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of professionals, managing various aspects in the operational department such as personnel deployment, client relations, risk management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and support staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and capable of performing their duties efficiently;
Deployment and Planning:
- Design and implement resource deployment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and requirements;
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure high satisfaction levels;
- To hold regular client meetings to review service quality and identify areas for improvement;
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Evaluate potential business, and delivery risks at client facilities, events, or operations, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them;
Incident Management:
- Respond swiftly and effectively through incident reporting systems , to any incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to protect people and property;
Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
- Work with general management to develop and manage budgets for operations, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising service quality’
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs for personnel and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance their skills, knowledge, and overall performance
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and innovation within operations;
- Manage operational KPIs aligned with customer complaints, efficiency (bill ratio), service levels, and cost reduction goals
Experience & qualifications:
- A qualification or experience in operations is preferred or comparable work experience;
- Demonstrated experience in operations, with several years in a supervisory or managerial position;
- Familiarity with technologies and systems ;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities;
- Capable of making critical decisions under pressure and effectively managing emergency situations.
- A solid understanding of relevant policies, laws, regulations.
