Our esteemed client is looking to recruit an Assistant Operations to join their team. The candidate will be reporting into the Business Director.

Job Outline:

The Operations Assistant will be responsible for overseeing and optimising business operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and growth across multiple departments. This role requires a proactive leader with strong expertise in management, corporate strategy, and business development. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in establishing streamlined corporate processes, ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and facilitating smooth client onboarding.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily departmental operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows;
  • Implement and enhance business processes aligned with corporate structures to drive growth;
  • Manage and refine corporate governance frameworks to support the company’s strategic objectives;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of business initiatives;
  • Develop operational strategies that align with long-term goals and ensure adherence to regulatory standards;
  • Establish and track performance metrics to measure operational success;
  • Address operational challenges promptly, offering strategic insights for improvements and solutions;
  • Oversee the management and upkeep of the client database;
  • Handle daily client operations and address ad hoc requests as needed;
  • Perform additional related tasks as reasonably required from time to time
  • Collaborates closely with the entire Marine & Aviation team to ensure high-quality client services and compliance with relevant legal requirements;
  • Stay updated on developments in seamen’s legislation, maritime and aviation laws, and other relevant regulations to ensure the company remains compliant across all operating jurisdictions;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Prior experience in management within corporate or business development roles

Experience & Education:

  • MBA or an equivalent advanced degree in business, operations management, or a related discipline;
  • Demonstrated expertise in operations management, corporate structures, and business development;
  • Comprehensive understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and their implementation in corporate settings.;
  • Proven experience with client onboarding processes and operational best practices
