Our esteemed client is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager within their commercial team.
The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the sales team to promote the company's products and develop integrated marketing and sales strategies aimed at driving business growth.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies by identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate tools, defining product positioning, and setting clear objectives;
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company’s products, working closely with the sales team to strengthen go-to-market strategies and recommending improvements for greater impact;
- Conduct client research and implement lead generation strategies aligned with defined target markets;
- Ensure product knowledge is effectively shared with the sales team through various internal platforms and training initiatives;
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to develop actionable strategies that support sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention;
- Continuously refine marketing efforts based on client feedback to boost competitiveness, performance, and business results;
- Plan, manage, and monitor the marketing budget to ensure resources are allocated efficiently and effectively;
- Lead the execution of all marketing and sales initiatives, from conceptualisation to delivery;
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in sales, marketing, business development, and account management;
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors;
- Oversee the management of the company’s digital presence, including its website and social media platforms;
- Deliver on ad hoc sales and marketing assignments as delegated by senior management or the board, ensuring timely and high-quality execution;
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, including seminars, conferences, and networking functions;
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, supporting the team’s strategic goals and operational needs.
Experience & Requirements:
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and drive for sales and marketing;
- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a sales and marketing role or a comparable position;
- Proven success in delivering impactful sales and marketing results;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Strong foundation in marketing principles, business strategy, and project management;
- Solid understanding of contemporary sales and marketing techniques and tools;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a good level of digital literacy;
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence;
- Highly organised and goal-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving results;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to swiftly identify challenges and implement effective solutions;
- Adept at managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments;
- Skilled at transforming data-driven insights into actionable sales and marketing strategies;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate with team members.
