Our esteemed client is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager within their Marketing ream.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the candidate is required to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for retail outlets, with a primary focus on attracting and retaining customers, increasing brand awareness, and driving sales growth. This role will play a key part in shaping brand perception and contributing directly to the business's success within the industry sector.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote shops, brands, and products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives;
- Plan, create, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including traditional advertising, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and in-store promotions;
- Manage the company’s public relations strategy and coordinate a PR communication calendar with the marketing agency, as needed;
- Collaborate with agencies to ensure brand guidelines are followed during conceptualization and creative processes, including designs, social media content, and radio scripts;
- Provide input in developing materials such as scripts, concepts, and storyboards, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines;
- Lead the creation and execution of BTL (Below The Line) trade marketing materials, in adherence to brand guidelines;
- Oversee the company’s digital and social media strategy to maintain a strong market presence;
- Manage the company’s and third-party online shopping platforms, focusing on strategy, consumer initiatives, and implementation;
- Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and market differentiation;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product/category management, operations, and merchandising, to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives;
- Create and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources cost-effectively and monitoring return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities.;
- Leverage data analytics and marketing metrics to assess campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization;
- Build strong relationships with media partners, advertising agencies, and external vendors to maximise promotional opportunities and negotiate favorable terms;
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly;
- Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging marketing technologies, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and foster innovation within the organization;
- Perform additional duties as required by the position.;
- Oversee social media platforms with a focus on increasing market share
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Marketing;
- Previous experience in Marketing is considered an asset;
- Excellent communications skills & team work;
- Computer literacy skills
