Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to joint their growing company. The candidate is responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance, and installations across building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facilities. The role ensures efficient operations by addressing issues promptly and supporting overall facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs;
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general systems;
- Install and maintain equipment, appliances, and infrastructure;
- Modify and install electrical systems, lighting, switchgear, and distribution boards;
- Carry out installation and maintenance of water and drainage pipework;
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and HVAC issues, coordinating with suppliers when necessary;
- Diagnose and repair kitchen and facility equipment;
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations;
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and prepare shift reports;
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and report issues to management;
- Load, unload, and handle tools, equipment, and materials as required;
- Follow instructions, manuals, and technical drawings (e.g. blueprints);
- Collaborate with team members and external contractors when needed;
- Use a range of tools, including power, electrical, and plumbing tools;
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
