Our client is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Learning & Development Executive to support the growth and development of its employees. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about learning, enjoys delivering engaging training initiatives, and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous professional development across the organisation.
Working closely with the HR team and departmental managers, the successful candidate will coordinate learning initiatives, support talent development programmes, and help drive employee engagement through effective training solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
- Organise, facilitate, and evaluate internal and external training programmes.
- Identify learning and development needs in collaboration with managers and recommend suitable training solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the annual learning and development plan.
- Create and update engaging training materials, presentations, and learning resources.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and learning metrics.
- Support performance management, talent development, succession planning, and career progression initiatives.
- Liaise with external training providers and coordinate professional development opportunities and certifications.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and recommend continuous improvements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources role.
- Experience delivering or coordinating training programmes within a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach with a passion for employee development and continuous learning.
- HR or Learning & Development qualifications will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset.
