Our client is seeking a detail-oriented KYC Analyst – Compliance & AML Associate to support the Compliance team in maintaining a robust regulatory framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting client due diligence, KYC reviews, ongoing monitoring, and ensuring compliance with AML/CFT regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks for new and existing clients.

- Review client documentation and ensure all records are complete, accurate, and maintained in line with regulatory requirements.

- Perform periodic client reviews and ongoing monitoring to ensure continued compliance.

- Identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), authorised signatories, controllers, and related parties, including complex ownership structures.

- Conduct sanctions, Politically Exposed Person (PEP), and adverse media screening, documenting findings and recommendations.

- Detect unusual or suspicious activity and escalate concerns to the Designated Employee where appropriate.

- Assist with the preparation of internal reports and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs/SARs).

- Liaise with clients to obtain documentation and clarify information in a professional and compliant manner.

- Maintain organised and up-to-date client records in accordance with AML/CFT regulations and company procedures.

- Support the Compliance team with regulatory, administrative, and ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in Compliance, AML, KYC, Legal, or Financial Services is preferred.

- Good understanding of AML/CFT regulations and KYC/CDD procedures.

- A compliance-related qualification or certification will be considered an asset.

- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
