Junior Accountant - Malta

Our very well known company is looking to recruit Junior Accountant within their firm. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks;

- Processing invoices;

- Ensuring timely payment of debts;

- Following up payments as needed;

- Managing the collection of all payments and debts;

- Responding to relevant client enquiries;

- Collecting and analysing data about a company’s operational costs;

- Setting standard costs of manufactured goods;

- Developing and analysing cost standards;

- Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis;

- Performing account reconciliations;

- Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data;

- Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure

Experience:

- Previous work experience as a credit controller would be considered an asset;

- Proficient in Accounting and office software such as excel applications;

- Passion for Cost Accounting;

- Strong communication skills;
