A leading organisation in Malta operating within corporate and advisory services is on the lookout for ambitious and motivated junior to senior level accountants to join their team of professionals.
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, as a Junior member of the team will be assisting in general accounting duties such as maintaining accounting records, general, sales and purchases ledgers, reconciliation of bank accounts, among other duties.
As a Semi-Senior / Senior you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, meeting and attending to their requests. Your key responsibilities will also include preparation of monthly VAT returns and management accounts, addressing audit queries as well as other related tasks.
The above-mentioned roles take place within a challenging fast-paced environment, therefore the ideal candidates should be driven individuals that have the ability to work in a team and also possess excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates for such roles should be pursuing an ACCA qualification or equivalent or are qualified accountants and should also have a minimum of 1 year of experience within a client accounting role.
For the Semi-Senior / Senior roles, knowledge of IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards, as well as experience in payroll and QuickBooks, will be considered an asset.
