Our well esteemed client an equal-opportunity employer and embrace diversity within the company is looking to recruit an experienced IT Administrator to provide comprehensive IT support across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and providing user support.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical support to employees for both hardware and software issues;
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications;
  • Manage security protocols, including user accounts, access controls, password management, and permission settings;
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system backups, software updates, and security patches;
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot technical problems;
  • Document technical procedures and maintain an accurate inventory of hardware;
  • Assist with the implementation and deployment of new technologies;
  • Configure and maintain network devices, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust security;
  • Monitor for system performance and security breaches, escalating as needed;
  • Manage cloud services, virtual machines, and related platforms;
  • Automate routine tasks using scripts and other tools

Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role;
  • Certified in CCNA, Cybersecurity, and other IT administration-related certifications;
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and the MS Office suite;
  • Experienced in troubleshooting desktop and mobile devices;
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and analytical abilities;
  • Capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Committed to continuous learning and staying current with the latest technologies

Candidates with demonstrated hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and EyeSel retail systems will be given preference.
