The ICT Operations Officer provides first-line IT support at Head Office, ensuring effective management of user access, hardware, and software throughout the employee lifecycle. The role also supports IT projects, process improvements, and ongoing system performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level ICT support, including setup, maintenance, and decommissioning of user access, hardware, and software;
- Assist in sourcing IT suppliers, equipment, and services;
- Analyse and improve business processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions;
- Support and manage IT and business process projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget;
- Identify and evaluate tools, service providers, and solutions to meet business needs;
- Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycles;
- Monitor supplier performance and address any service issues;
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards;
- Train and support staff on systems and tools under responsibility;
- Provide ongoing support to departments using implemented solutions;
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Head of IT.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365;
- Good understanding of business processes and systems;
- Analytical and methodical approach with problem-solving skills;
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements;
- Strong communication skills in English;
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment;
- Ability to manage system quality and ICT-related changes.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Experience administering multiple software systems;
- Exposure to IT procurement and supplier coordination is an asset;
- Experience providing remote IT support is preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma (MQF Level 5 or equivalent) in ICT or a related field;
- A degree in IT or a related discipline is considered an asset.
