Our esteemed client is seeking to recruit an HR Operations Manager to be accountable for overseeing the HR Operations department by managing all human resources activities for both existing and new projects within the designated regions. The position collaborates closely with Individual Project and Operations Managers to ensure that operations receive high-quality HR support across the company's operational areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mentor senior operations staff to ensure compliance with the company's HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs);
  • Take overall responsibility for managing the HR filing system;
  • Collaborate with the Corporate HR department to maintain, improve, and update Medilink HR policies and procedures in response to evolving needs;
  • Identify gaps in HR processes and lead the development and implementation of country-specific work instructions in accordance with local regulatory and statutory requirements;
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, talent pool creation, and the sourcing of operations-related positions;
  •  Coordinate with clients, project, and regional managers regarding staff mobilisation;
  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy;
  • Recommend and implement improvements to internal SOPs, including team restructuring and morale-building efforts;
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach operations staff to meet current and future company needs;
  • Maintain a smooth onboarding process;
  • Train, counsel, and coach HR operations team members;
  • Lead departmental investigations involving HR matters and implement corrective actions approved by the head of the department (HOD);
  • Ensure the organisation and execution of onboarding/offboarding duties and forms;
  • Review company HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current, legally compliant, and operationally efficient, consulting with the Head of SHRM as necessary;
  • Serve as the departmental representative or head of department when delegated.
  • Serve as a key point of reference for departmental/section actions and decisions;
  • Manage emergency situations;
  • Generate regular reports for the Head of Department (HOD), indicating trends and usage;
  • Ensure the HR Operations team delivers efficient performance, engagement, and quality service to all sites;
  • Promote engagement and fair treatment of all operations staff;
  • Participate in HR, Quality, and HSSE initiatives;
  • Accurately collect and interpret HR-related metrics;
  • Prepare HR-related reports for senior management as required;
  • Perform any additional responsibilities that align with your competencies, skills, and experience;
  • Adhere to and actively promote all company HSSE policies and initiatives to foster a safe and healthy environment;
  • Undertake any duties assigned by the company that match your skills, competencies, and experience
