Our client is looking to recruit an HR Officer to join their HR team and handle all the functions of payroll.
Our client is seeking a candidate for a junior-level role, ideally someone with limited experience but with some prior exposure to payroll—such as 1–2 previous roles in a supporting capacity. The candidate should have a good understanding of how to process and finalise payroll calculations, as well as knowledge of time and attendance systems. While a formal qualification in payroll or a related field would be considered an asset, it is not a mandatory requirement. Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while upholding the highest levels of compliance, confidentiality, and efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll for companies within the Group, covering salaries, wages, pensions, overtime, and allowances;
- Handle employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, terminations, leave, and absences;
- Maintain accurate HR and payroll records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment legislation;
- Prepare payroll and HR reports to support management decision-making and KPI monitoring;
- Oversee Time & Attendance schedules and provide assistance to various departments;
- Support year-end submissions, payroll audits, and outsourced service requirements;
- Contribute to wider HR activities as required.
