On behalf of our client, a very well known manufacturing company is looking to recruit an HR Manager to join their team.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all HR operational functions. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in optimising the full Employee Life Cycle while ensuring smooth and efficient HR service delivery across the organisation. This role is ideal for a driven HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the company’s people strategy and operational excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring effective and timely service across all departments;
- Manage the full recruitment cycle and work closely with external recruitment partners and temporary work agencies;
- Oversee time & attendance, payroll processes, and compensation & benefits to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and consistency;
- Supervise agency employees, including attendance monitoring and payment coordination;
- Track labour costs and support the preparation of HR budgets and management reports;
- Coordinate employee learning and development initiatives;
- Update, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions;
- Manage HR data and reporting through the HRIS, providing insights to support decision-making;
- Contribute to HR projects, process optimisation, and ongoing HR digitalisation efforts;
- Oversee security-related processes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on operational matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is considered an asset);
- Employment Law qualification.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in HR operations including payroll, time & attendance, recruitment, and managing agency staff;
- Knowledge of compensation & benefits, labour cost monitoring, and budget planning;
- Experience coordinating learning & development programs;
- Skilled in HR reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis;
- Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office, especially Excel;
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience coaching and developing HR teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR operations with organisational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Effective collaborator with the ability to work with management, external partners, and employees at all levels.
Experience:
- At least 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 2–3 years in an HR management position;
- Demonstrated experience in payroll management, recruitment, managing agency staff, and leading L&D programs;
- Proven track record in HR policy implementation, HR reporting, HRIS management, and compliance oversight;
- Experience working within large organisations is essential;
- Background in manufacturing and/or FMCG environments is considered an advantage.
