Our esteemed client is looking to recruit an HR Manager. The candidate is responsible for managing all facets of human resources practices, policies, and processes to align with the organisation’s strategic objectives. This role involves cultivating a positive workplace culture, attracting and retaining high-performing talent, overseeing labor relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Additionally, the HR Manager will spearhead initiatives to improve employee engagement, enhance performance, and drive organizational growth.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization’s overall business goals;
  • Monitor and analyse workforce data to support informed decision-making;
  • Advise leadership on HR trends and emerging issues that impact the organization;
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain high-caliber talent;
  • Collaborate with department heads to anticipate hiring needs and create detailed job descriptions;
  • Strengthen the organisation’s employer brand to establish it as an employer of choice;
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace environment;
  • Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution;
  • Oversee disciplinary processes, including investigations, documentation, and the implementation of appropriate actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements;
  • Design and implement strategies to boost employee engagement and retention;
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies;
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks;
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide actionable recommendations for resolution;
  • Oversee the performance evaluation process, offering guidance to managers and employees;
  • Implement programs to support employee development, career growth, and succession planning;
  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages;
  • Benchmark industry practices to maintain competitiveness and cost-effectiveness;
  • Conduct regular reviews of benefits programs and recommend enhancements as needed;
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives;
  • Promote opportunities for leadership and professional growth;
  • Assess training program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments;
  • Serve as the primary liaison with employee unions or representatives.
  • Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with labor laws;
  • Administer and interpret collective agreements, addressing related issues effectively;
  • Foster positive relationships with union representatives to encourage collaboration and resolve disputes;
  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee HR systems;
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate payroll processing;
  • Develop and manage the HR budget;
  • Lead HR-related components of organisational change and transformation initiatives;
  • Provide support during restructuring processes to ensure smooth transitions.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in HR management, including managing disciplinary processes and negotiating collective agreements;
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and industry best practices;
  • Strong leadership abilities, negotiation skills, and interpersonal expertise;
  • Demonstrated capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
