Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on employee welfare and development, including handling disciplinary matters.
- Stay current on HR regulations and ensure full compliance with all policies and legal requirements.
- Work towards departmental goals and recommend process improvements.
- Keep employee records, legal documentation, and policies up-to-date.
- Generate reports regularly and assist in payroll processing tasks.
- Managing ID Malta applications for Third-Country Nationals (TCNs).
- Safeguard confidentiality and ensure effective communication at all levels within the organization.
- Assisting with recruitment processes.
- Contribute to a positive work environment, inform employee of organisational benefits and organise team building events.
- Organize employee training sessions and manage performance reviews.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency protocols and adhere to company guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, Maltese and Italian, possess excellent judgment and decision-making skills, and perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Familiarity with payroll processing and HR management software is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, along with strong organisational and communication abilities are a must. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
