Our client is on the lookout for an HR Executive to oversee efficient personnel services, ensure policy adherence, and nurture positive employee relationships. If you are a proactive HR professional with strong communication abilities, this role could be perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering professional HR services to all employees and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Promote employee well-being and development, including managing disciplinary issues.
- Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements, staying updated on HR trends.
- Help achieve departmental goals and propose enhancements to processes.
- Keep employee records, legal documents, and policies current.
- Generate regular reports and assist with payroll processing.
- Maintain confidentiality and facilitate effective communication across all levels.
- Support a positive workplace culture and assist with recruitment activities.
- Organise employee training and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure staff facilities are well-maintained and inform employees about company benefits.
- Be well-versed in emergency procedures and adhere to company policies.
- Engage in training and development programs.
- Represent the HR Manager in meetings when needed.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and oversee onboarding and follow-up.
The ideal candidate will possess strong English language skills, strong judgment and the ability to make decisions, demonstrate quick thinking, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email is essential, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Fluency in both Maltese and English would be considered an asset. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience. Knowledge of payroll systems and HR management tools is a plus.
