Our well known established company is seeking to recruit an HR Coordinator within their team.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, including personal details, employment contracts, benefits, and performance reviews;
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and comply with data protection regulations;
  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating background checks;
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation programs and completing necessary paperwork;
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters;
  • Use HR software and databases to input, update, and retrieve employee data and generate reports;
  • Assist in organising and coordinating training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives, while maintaining training records and tracking employee participation;
  • Promote equality and diversity as integral aspects of the organisation's culture;
  • Complete documentation and manage work permit applications for third-country nationals;
  • Manage and apply for funding schemes;
  • Stay informed about HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance, and assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures accordingly;
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and answering phone calls, and assist in organising HR events and meetings;
  • Support the HR team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated work experience in a similar role;
  • Prior experience with HR software;
  • Proficient in computer use, especially MS Office applications;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Maltese employment law;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize important projects;
  • Proficient communication skills in both Maltese and English
