We are looking to enhance to support our client by hiring a Health and Safety, Security Manager. Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s Health, Safety, and Security management systems. This role ensures the safety and security of all employees, visitors, and contractors in compliance with current Health and Safety and Security regulations. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the maintenance of the highest standards in facilities management for the corporate offices and shared company spaces.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Review and enhance Farsons’ Health, Safety, and Security Policy, ensuring consistent implementation across the organization;
  • Monitor, evaluate, and stay updated on existing, new, and upcoming Health, Safety, and Security legislation, ensuring the company’s systems and procedures meet legal compliance requirements;
  • Collaborate proactively with managers and key staff to establish and sustain a program of continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Security management, including conducting regular audits;
  • Implement rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems, enabling all areas to identify hazards and establish appropriate control measures;
  • Address areas for improvement with relevant staff or external bodies, agreeing on and following up with corrective actions;
  • Work with Occupational Health Service staff on health surveillance as identified through risk assessments, including conducting stress risk assessments when necessary;
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legal requirements;
  • Oversee facilities management to ensure corporate office standards enhance the employee experience, making the workplace an attractive environment for current and prospective employees and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate maturity and ideally have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Hold a recognized degree in Health & Safety;
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Health & Safety practices and legislation;
  • Exhibit strong analytical abilities;
  • Display excellent leadership and communication skills.
