This role is responsible for leading the Quality and Training functions, ensuring the organisation consistently delivers high standards across its services. The position oversees quality assurance processes, including audits, document control, and incident investigations, to drive continuous improvement and maintain procedural integrity across global operations.

In addition, the role leads the Training function, ensuring the effective delivery of both internal and externally focused training programmes, with an emphasis on developing high-quality, commercially viable learning solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

- Ensure internal processes meet the highest quality standards

- Drive continuous improvement in service quality and healthcare standards

- Identify, manage, and monitor risks and quality-related issues

- Oversee regular audits of clinical support services to ensure ongoing improvement

- Establish and manage internal and external audit schedules

- Report on quality performance to senior management and the Board

- Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans

-Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, contractors, and external auditors

Training & Development Responsibilities:

- Lead the strategic growth of the training function and position the organisation as a leading provider of commercial training services

- Provide direction and innovation to ensure delivery of engaging, high-quality training solutions aligned with industry best practice

- Drive the development of training materials and programmes using diverse and modern delivery methods

- Oversee local content development initiatives across operational regions

- Ensure training solutions evolve in line with market demands

- Represent the organisation in international training and development forums

- Identify competency gaps and training needs across staff and contractors

- Develop and manage a network of trainers, educators, and external consultants

Qualifications & Experience:

- Preferably a medical qualification

- Registration with a European Medical Council is considered an asset

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar leadership role

- Experience working in remote or international environments is advantageous

- Proven experience in preparing and presenting reports at Board level

- Strong project management experience from planning through to delivery

- Experience in auditing and incident investigation
