Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of HR/CHRO will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the senior leadership team. The role is responsible for shaping organisational design, leading talent strategy, and ensuring a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
The Head of HR/CHRO will lead key HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, organisational culture, and compliance.
The role promotes the company's values and ensures the organisation has the right talent, structures, and HR practices to successfully implement its strategy and objectives with employees as well as with volunteers.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s/advanced degree preferred);
- Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role;
- Proven track record in strategic HR roles, preferably in a growing or evolving organisation;
- Strong knowledge of Maltese labour laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices;
- Experience in managing complex employee relations cases;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams;
- Experience designing and implementing HR policies, frameworks, and strategic HR initiatives;
- Knowledge/experience working with volunteers or within an NGO (considered an asset).
