We are currently seeking professionals for a Head of Accounting position, who will form part of an international and established company in the maritime tourism industry. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a team of professionals, as well as onboarding new recruits as needed
- Reporting to and collaborating with colleagues both locally and internationally
- Overseeing the audit process and handling meetings with auditors
- Ensuring various deadlines are met, in relation to internal reporting, audit, VAT and Tax
- .Assisting with local and foreign tax matters
- Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts
- Reviewing statutory Financial Statements in line with IFRS
- Reviewing month end results prepared by the team
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant with at least 7 years experience in a managerial position. Previous experience within the hospitality or tourism sector will be considered an asset.
