Our client is a dedicated food manufacturing facility and one of the leading importers and distributors of frozen and chilled food products. 
They are particularly looking for applications from professionals looking to transition from culinary or kitchen-based roles into quality management. Ideal candidates will bring strong expertise in food safety, HACCP, and process control, and a desire to grow within a structured, ISO-compliant environment.
Purpose
To lead and maintain a robust, group-wide Quality Management function. The role ensures that product safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards are consistently achieved across all operations, including meat processing, frozen food imports, and deli counters.
 
Key Responsibilities
	- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Group Quality Management System (QMS).
- Create and roll out quality policies, procedures, and documentation where gaps exist.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections across all sites to ensure compliance with group standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operational adherence to hygiene, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate third-party, customer, and regulatory audits; ensure sites maintain required certifications (e.g. HACCP, GMP).
- Deliver training to staff on quality systems, food safety, and documentation protocols.
- Analyse and report quality metrics, KPIs, and compliance trends to Senior Management.
- Serve as the main liaison with regulatory authorities, auditors, and key stakeholders on all quality-related matters.
- Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all business units.
 
Requirements
	- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Degree in Environmental Health or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage audits, implement quality systems, and drive operational improvements.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and time-management abilities.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
