Our very well known company operating in diverse industries is seeking to recruit a Global HR Manager to manage group companies.

Job Outline:

The Group HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function across the organisation, ensuring HR strategies, policies, and initiatives support business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture. This role involves overseeing all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, compliance, and organisational development. The Group HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership while ensuring consistency of HR practices across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation’s overall goals and objectives;

- Oversee the full HR function across the group, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations;

- Lead talent acquisition initiatives, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning;

- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention strategies to support a high-performance culture;

- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and career development planning;

- Oversee learning and development programmes to build employee capabilities and support career growth;

- Advise management on HR best practices, employment law, and employee relations matters;

- Ensure consistent application and periodic review of HR policies and procedures across all entities;

- Lead payroll oversight, compensation, and benefits strategies in collaboration with Finance;

- Analyse HR data and prepare reports for senior leadership to support informed decision-making;

- Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organisation;

- Manage and mentor the HR team to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications & Expertise:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is an asset);

- Proven experience (5+ years) in HR leadership, ideally at a group or multi-entity level;

- Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR best practices;

- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and organisational development;

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;

- Ability to work strategically while also being hands-on in day-to-day operations;

- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism;

- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
