Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team.
The selected candidate will report and support the CFO in managing assigned business units and joint ventures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, and other general ledger entries in line with month-end closing;
- Support the finance team with month-end procedures;
- Compile management accounts and analyse variances against budgets and forecasts;
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and bank accounts;
- Produce and review monthly payroll reports;
- Prepare statutory returns, including VAT;
- Assist in budget preparation, year-end processes, forecasts, and cash flow management;
- Support the preparation of audit files and liaise with auditors as required;
- Maintain effective communication within the department, keeping the CFO updated on key issues;
- Safeguard the financial integrity of the business by implementing and maintaining sound financial procedures and practices.
Requirements
- A degree in Business Management with specialisation in Accountancy, or ACCA qualification (in progress or completed);
- Proficiency in accounting software; knowledge of Sage 50, Shireburn Financial Manager, and ERP systems considered an asset;
- Solid knowledge of local finance and taxation legislation;
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills;
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;
- Professional attitude aligned with company values;
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
