Main Responsibilities

  • Efficiently supervise and manage day-to-day financial activities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, by assigning tasks to team members and ensuring a smooth workflow to support the team's operations.
  • Actively engage in the month-end and audit processes to guarantee timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Compile detailed monthly financial reports and audited accounts.
  • Assemble and submit tax and other regulatory submissions promptly and accurately as necessary.
  • Effectively oversee cash flow and working capital requirements to optimise financial resources.
  • An active role in preparing the group budget and monitor performance against it on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinate with auditors, financial institutions, and other consultants on financial matters.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are established and propose improvements as required to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

The ideal candidate should possess demonstrated maturity and valuable on-the-job experience in similar managerial and accounting roles, with at least 5-7 years in progressively responsible financial positions, including managerial experience. Strong leadership skills are required, including the ability to lead, motivate, and delegate effectively while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to work independently when needed. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is crucial. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality in financial operations are also important attributes.
