Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in line with GAAP standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting deadlines.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial results to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Analyse product costs to identify opportunities for savings in materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management and valuation systems.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
  • Monitor working capital metrics and recommend strategies to improve cash conversion cycles.
  • Forecast cash flow projections and mitigate cash flow risks.
  • Evaluate capital investment opportunities, conducting financial modeling and ROI analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial feasibility of proposed investments.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure.
  • Maintain internal controls and compliance procedures to safeguard assets.
  • Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Coach and mentor staff to enhance their skills and professional development.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to support business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with preference for an MBA or CPA qualification. They must have a minimum of 10 years of finance experience, including 5 years in a managerial role in manufacturing. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting principles, and inventory management is essential, along with proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent communication skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems and financial reporting tools are required. Demonstrated leadership abilities and proactive problem-solving approach are also essential.

The Finance Manager position offers a salary of up to 60k depending on experience, along with additional benefits including a car and performance bonus.
