Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Clerk within their Finance and Account team. This is an opportunity for freshly Finance graduates who are seeking their first employment in Finance.
This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong numerical skills and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will be involved in various clerical finance duties, including handling telephony orders, client support, invoice checking, and bank reconciliations.
The Finance Clerk candidate will work closely with other members of the Finance team to support the department’s daily operations.
Key duties & Responsibilities:
- Taking telephony orders and handling related queries;
- Responding to client enquiries regarding telephony and newsprint;
- Adjusting standing orders as required;
- Processing claims related to magazines and newspapers;
- Handling online orders and subscription management;
- Verifying supplier invoices for accuracy;
- Performing bank reconciliations
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills;
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks efficiently under pressure;
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities;
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and client satisfaction;
- Team player with a flexible approach to duties
