We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant for our client, an innovative company holding a diverse, close-knit team of professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing, issuing, following up on, and reconciling customer invoices;
- Reviewing supplier invoices and processing payments upon approval;
- Assisting in monitoring, managing, and reconciling bank accounts;
- Supporting the company’s petty cash management process;
- Collaborating with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies on supplier invoices;
- Ensuring accurate recording and entry of financial transactions into the accounting system;
- Reconciling customer and supplier accounts;
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies through coordination with internal departments and/or customers;
- Performing assigned tasks in an organised and structured manner while meeting key deadlines;
- Providing support to stakeholders and customers as required;
- Recommending process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness;
- Assisting the Head of Finance with additional responsibilities as needed;
- Carrying out any other tasks assigned by the Head of Finance or management.
We are looking for candidates having at least 1 year of experience in a Finance or similar role. A minimum of an Ordinary level of education in accounts would be considered an asset. This is a role guaranteed to enhance your career in Finance!
