This role combines in-store execution with selected sales support responsibilities, ensuring strong retail presence while contributing to key sales activities as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in targeted sales initiatives assigned by the Business Development team
- Support Sales Representatives by ensuring shelves are fully stocked, displays follow planograms, and products are retail-ready
- Recommend stock replenishment based on product movement and demand
- Provide in-store insights, including pricing checks, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
- Assist with handling basic customer queries related to products and services, escalating complex matters where necessary
- Ensure products are displayed in line with planograms, brand guidelines, and promotional standards
- Conduct routine checks on stock rotation, expiry dates, product availability, and shelf condition
- Occasionally assist with product transportation to and from customers when required
- Monitor product storage conditions, including temperature and freshness where applicable
- Maintain high-quality in-store displays, signage, and promotional materials
- Support events and promotional activities such as product tastings
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Full-time role (flexibility required, including Monday to Saturday)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar FMCG merchandising or retail support role
- Fluent in Maltese and English
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Familiarity with planograms and product display standards
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit, with the ability to handle manual tasks when required
- Valid Category B driving licence and use of own vehicle
