The EHS Executive supports the Environmental, Health & Safety function by assisting in the implementation of workplace safety, health, and environmental practices. The role involves conducting inspections, supporting training initiatives, monitoring compliance, and contributing to a safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines;

- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and basic risk assessments to identify and report hazards;

- Support compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations;

- Assist in organising and delivering safety training sessions and awareness initiatives;

- Support incident reporting by collecting information, completing documentation, and escalating issues for further review;

- Monitor the availability and condition of safety equipment (e.g., PPE, first aid kits, fire extinguishers) and report any maintenance needs;

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety metrics;

- Assist with emergency drills (e.g., fire and evacuation) by coordinating logistics and documenting outcomes;

- Support the communication of safety and security procedures to staff and contractors;

- Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental practices, including waste management and recycling;

- Support the collection and maintenance of environmental data (e.g., waste logs, spill reports).

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

- Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety, or currently pursuing one;

- 1–2 years’ experience in a health and safety support role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting;

- Basic knowledge of health & safety legislation and environmental standards;

- Strong organisational and reporting skills with attention to detail;

- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments;

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

- Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately
