Our client is looking to recruit a Corporate and Compliance Executive to join their team.

This role provides support to the Company Secretary and Compliance function across the three publicly listed companies and their subsidiaries. Its primary focus is to enhance governance practices, ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, and implement strong compliance frameworks aligned with statutory and capital markets requirements. Working alongside the current Company Secretariat Executive, who concentrates on company secretarial duties, this position will lead compliance oversight, drive digital process improvements, and contribute to sustainable governance initiatives that reflect the company’s lean, green, and digital strategy.

Main duties & Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance and governance frameworks across the three publicly listed companies and their subsidiaries;
- Ensure full adherence to the Companies Act, Capital Markets Rules, MFSA requirements, and other relevant regulations;
- Maintain and update compliance registers, policies, and procedures to ensure effective oversight and regulatory alignment;
- Prepare and review compliance reports, governance documentation, and Board materials for Board and Committee meetings;
- Work closely with the Company Secretariat Executive responsible for company secretarial administration to ensure cohesive support and operational efficiency;
- Liaise with regulators, advisors, and auditors on compliance-related matters;
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance compliance effectiveness, and support the organisation’s lean, green, and digital transformation goals;
- Assist in digitalising compliance records, improving data integrity, and embedding sustainable governance practices;

- Contribute to internal compliance awareness initiatives and training programmes to foster a culture of accountability and integrity.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Technical knowledge required with personal responsibility for CPD;

- More than two years to five years & MQF Level 4/5 – Matriculation certificate/A level National Diploma/Higher National Diploma or equivalent MQF;

- Regular 40-hour week, 5 days and not requiring shift;

- Job requires working long/unsociable hours and minor decisions with may cause some Stress;

- Basic responsibilities for physical, monetary and intangible assets, e.g. handling of petty cash or small equipment/tools
