Our esteemed client is looking to recruit a Compliance Executive with their compliance team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Support the Compliance function across all group entities in day-to-day operations;

- Gather, verify, and maintain client due diligence documentation in accordance with internal onboarding procedures;

- Perform Client Risk Assessments during onboarding and as part of ongoing monitoring;

- Carry out and evaluate client screening checks and investigative findings;

- Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls;

- Execute internal compliance reviews and prepare related reports;

- Liaise with external bodies, including the companies registry, regulators, and enforcement authorities;

- Maintain a well-structured and organised due diligence filing system, both in physical form and within internal software tools;

- Handle additional AML/CFT-related tasks as required;

- Respond to requests and queries from clients and internal departments;

- Support the MLRO in preparing and submitting annual statutory filings and other regulatory reports;

- Stay informed of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, and undertake necessary training to ensure ongoing compliance;

- Compile data and statistics as needed.

The ideal candidate would have:

- A minimum of two to three years experience working in the corporate field with a minimum of one year working directly in AML/FT sector;

- Sound knowledge of the Implementing Procedures and local AML/FT legislation;

- AML related qualifications will be considered an asset;

- Be apt to manage and prioritise work;

- Works well in a team and collaborate well with other members from different departments;

- Have an eye for detail;

- Sound computer literacy skills: MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook;

- Excellent organisational skills;

- Ability to work under pressure
