Are you a motivated individual looking to enter a role within Accounts and Administration? Our client in the educational industry is looking for a College Administrator to join their team! This role will allow you to lead and manage finance related duties, as well as oversee general human resources responsibilities.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensuring that accounting records are maintained.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring processing and recording of payments.
- Overseeing day-to-day cash management and cash handling
- Reconciling bank statements on a monthly basis.
- Preparing financial statements on a quarterly basis or as otherwise required.
- Preparing and managing the annual budget.
- Processing VAT returns as necessary.
- Assisting the Director in the organisation, management and efficient and effective control of the company resources.
- Assisting in the development, promotion, updating and review of policies and procedures related to the Accounting, HR and Administrative function at the College.
- Preparing and submitting monthly payroll reports including preparation of pay slips and any payroll-related documentation.
- Carrying out administrative duties and liaising with the College clerks on the day-to day running of the Accounts and HR Department.
